Terms and Conditions

Booking and confirmation

Retreats and trips are application only. Submitting a form registers your interest and does not reserve a place. Your place is confirmed once we accept your application and your deposit is received.

Payment

A deposit of $1,000 per guest confirms a retreat place and is non refundable.
The balance may be paid in full or in scheduled installments agreed at the time of booking.
The full balance is due no later than 45 days before departure.
Prices are quoted in US dollars and exclude flights unless stated otherwise.

Cancellation and transfers

Deposits are non refundable in all cases.
Cancellations more than 90 days before departure: balance paid to date is refundable less the deposit.
Cancellations between 90 and 45 days: 50 percent of the balance paid is refundable.
Cancellations within 45 days: no refund is available. This is what travel insurance is for.
Places may be transferred to another guest, subject to our approval, up to 30 days before departure.
Event tickets are final. If we cancel an event you receive a credit toward a later event.

Travel insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance including trip cancellation and medical coverage is a condition of participation in every trip and retreat. You must confirm you hold, or will hold, suitable coverage before your booking is complete. We may ask for proof before departure.

Waiver and assumption of risk

All guests must complete our liability waiver and release before arrival. Participation in wellness, movement, water, and excursion activities is voluntary and at your own risk.

Health and fitness

You are responsible for judging whether you are fit to take part. Tell us about medical conditions, injuries, allergies, and dietary requirements in advance so we can plan safely around them. Nothing we offer is medical care or a substitute for it.

Travel documents

Valid passports, visas, and entry requirements are your responsibility. We will share what we know about the destination, but we cannot be held responsible for denied entry.

Changes to itineraries

Schedules and itineraries may vary as we curate the ideal immersive destination experience. We reserve the right to substitute accommodation, facilitators, and activities of comparable standard where circumstances require it.

Conduct

Our rooms depend on discretion and respect. We may remove any guest whose conduct puts others at risk or materially affects the experience, without refund. What is shared in a session stays in the session.

YLL Club membership

Monthly membership renews monthly and may be cancelled at any time before the next renewal.
Annual membership runs twelve months and renews unless cancelled.
Founding Lifetime membership is a single payment and does not renew.
Membership dues are non refundable, and member benefits are personal and not transferable.

Media

Photography and filming take place at our experiences. By attending you agree we may use images that include you for our own marketing. Tell us in writing beforehand if you prefer to be excluded.

Liability

We act as the curator and organizer of experiences delivered in part by independent venues, operators, and facilitators. We are not liable for their acts or omissions, nor for loss, injury, delay, or expense arising from events beyond our reasonable control.
