We’ve all been there: your makeup looked amazing when you left the house, but when you use a bathroom or pass by a mirror whilst out and about you notice you’ve aged about 10 years thanks to creasing concealer. Fine lines that definitely weren’t there earlier start to appear and you begin to wonder why you even bothered with makeup in the first place. 

Honestly, creasing concealer is one of my biggest makeup pet peeves, and consequently I’ve dedicated a lot of time and energy into finding under-eye concealers that won’t crease. No matter your skin type or coverage needs, I’ve got you covered.

If you’re looking for a concealer that will effectively hide your dark circles whilst providing luminous, natural-looking coverage, this is the product for you. Best of all, it contains broad spectrum SPF 25 to help protect your delicate under-eye skin from harmful UV rays. However, remember that this should complement your daily sunscreen rather than replace it.

3. Best Budget: Maybelline Age Rewind 

Maybelline is probably my favourite budget beauty brand and this concealer is one of the main reasons why. It provides natural-looking coverage and it really won’t crease. It’s a perfect choice for anyone with dry or mature skin. 

4. Best for Your Skin: IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye

This beloved concealer is infused with plenty of skin-loving ingredients including peptides, antioxidants, vitamins and that hydration hero, hyaluronic acid. It’s also one of those concealers that won’t crease no matter how hard you laugh or how many hours you wear it for. I love that it really does look like skin, despite its insane ability to hide all manner of blemishes, sun spots and, of course, under eye circles.

5. Most Hydrating: By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra-Concealer

Dry skin, rejoice! By Terry’s Hyaluronic Hydra-Concealer is here to provide silky-soft coverage with a gorgeous lumi-matte finish. This lightweight product doesn’t just keep you crease free; it actively plumps and smooths your skin with hyaluronic acid and uses Horse Chestnut seed extract to brighten your dark circles. Eye bags? We don’t know her.

6. Best for Mature Skin: Trinny London BFF Serum Concealer

This concealer-serum hybrid from fashion guru Trinny Woodall is a dream for mature skin. Perhaps that’s why one is sold every 38 seconds! It’s beautifully lightweight yet powerful enough to cover up dark circles and discoloration. Best of all, it contains a duo peptide complex to reduce red and blue undertones, as well as vitamin C and hyaluronic acid to smooth the skin and increase brightness. It’s absolutely perfect for anyone with mature skin who struggles to find concealers that won’t crease – in fact, I’d go as far as to say that it’s a holy grail!

7. Longest Lasting: Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer

I normally associate matte products with longwear but I was pleasantly surprised by just how long Nars Radiant Creamy concealer stays perfect for. Not only is it crease-proof, it also keeps on providing flawless under eye coverage for well over 12 hours. That’s admittedly longer than you should keep your makeup on for, but sometimes needs must!
