A MODERN GUIDE TO LIVING YOUR LIFE WELL

7 Amazing Reasons to Go On a Group Tour

Pegasus Ride Bali.Week1.Day3-136-smaller

As a long-time traveller, I’ve done my fair share of solo trips but I also absolutely love group tours. Joining a group tour is an amazing option for those who haven’t travelled much before or are simply keen to explore the world with a great group of like-minded people. Let’s take a look at the top seven reasons to join a group tour for your next trip.

7 Amazing Reasons to Go On a Group Tour

1) No Planning

I love travelling but I know better than anyone than planning a trip can be super stressful. Wouldn’t it be amazing to have someone take care of all the details for you, so that all you need to do is rock up and enjoy yourself?

Some travelers really stress themselves out trying to plan the perfect itinerary, and end up cramming in way too much, leaving no time to relax and enjoy themselves. Alternatively, if you don’t dedicate enough time to planning you might miss out on some amazing attractions or activities.

When you join a luxury group trip, everything is taken care of for you so that you get to make the most out of your chosen destination and still take time to relax and soak it all in.

2) Meet New People

Have you ever really wanted to go somewhere, but held back because you didn’t have anyone to go with?

It can be so difficult trying to find a travel companion. The right time for you to take a trip rarely lines up with the right time for your friends, partner or family. But why should you have to miss out on the trip of your dreams? When you join a group trip, this totally ceases to matter because there are lots of amazing new people to meet.

I find that friendships solidify very quickly when you are traveling. Total strangers become best friends overnight, and these bonds last for a lifetime. For me, this is the best part of a group trip!

3) Expertise

A carefully curated group tour will lend insider expertise to make sure that you get the absolute most out of your trip, without you having to scour endless blog posts and reviews! This means you’ll stay at the best properties, see the most beautiful spots and get to enjoy the best activities on offer.

4) Reassurance

If you haven’t travelled alone before, or travelled much at all, participating in a group tour provides comfort and reassurance. Planning a trip can be really overwhelming if you don’t know what you’re doing, and the thought of going alone can be super scary. With a group trip, you can relax in the knowledge that everything is taken care of and simply get excited instead!

5) Photography

Naturally, you’ll want to get some killer snaps from your trip, but that’s difficult to do when you’re flying solo. When you join a group tour, you not only gain new friends, you get photographers, too!

6) Learn New Skills

When you choose a group tour that features workshops and classes, you get to learn new skills whilst having fun with your newfound friends. Not only do you get to enrich your knowledge, you have the chance to do it in a beautiful setting whilst learning all about a new culture.

7) Suit Your Style

There are group trips out there to suit every style of traveler, whether you’re an adventurer, partygoer or wellness lover. For example, my upcoming group trip to The Maldives is perfect for luxury wellness content creators looking to develop their entrepreneurial skills and recharge in one of the most exquisitely beautiful places in the world.
